Description
Just spent the weekend watching films like "Rocketship XM", "X-The Unknown", "Destination Moon" and "Quatermass 2"...
This cover is the result of that heady diet of V2 stock film and assorted silly goings on.
Love them!
Thanks for looking.
Iain

Sounds like a fabulous weekend, cool cover art once again!!
Hi Iain, Really like what you have done with this cover - especialy the ladder gives it a wonderful 50's feel. I have not always commented but do look and have appreciated what you are doing.
"Tankschlapper"????? Love that name and the images it calls up, another Peenemunde transplant with an even more flamboyant personality that von Braun. Often I wonder if NASA's tockets were not the terribly practical self-destructing totem poles but rather were the single stage elegant silver finned creations like this, would the public be more enchanted by our spacecraft?
Excellent work... Nice presentation! Hugs
Fantastic imagery once again. Perfect 50s look to it.
Iain mate, could you send me copy of this issue, I would love to finally read the "We come in peace" story ;¬)
I would imagine the poor old astronauts would have been knackered after climbing all the stairs.Another excellent issue, I was facinated by the Monatomic fuel article.Great stuff Iain.
Very cool rocket! WOnderful choices for article teasers, too!
