Description
this is the smallest dragonfly I have see.when it almost flew into my face, I was thinking a damselfly. I did not know it was a dragon until I got my macro focused on it.it flew away once, but I remained and it returned.I am thinking it is a juvenile. I did not have to focus the captures, but lost some resizing to be under the limit

Fantastic macros on this winged creature, Richard. What an unusual and most interesting face they have.

Wonderful captures Richard!
Nice shots!
Gorgeous shot!! Must have really been a tiny one.. Usually the smallest I've seen around here have been a little over an inch in length..
They are not pests so one can be patient in viewing them. They do not even have stingers or make annoying noises. The lacey wings alone are a subject of intense interest.
Amazing capture, Richard. Very cool. Yes i see his moustache and his hairy legs.. #:o) The thousands of eyes they have always fascinated me. And the many eyes can really be seen on these pictures.
Excellent macro work Richard, he was very kind coming back to pose for you. Fantastic clarity and detail, I think the center image is my favourite but they are all very good. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
