Description
I shot this with slow speed because the light was low; getting to be sunset and this area is in the shadows of cypress trees. The gators made passage ways around the nest so they can watch it better. There is three of them watching. You see here a small one. There is two small ones and a big one which is at the road all the time. You saw her eyes looking at you.
Thought i put this one in to show some of the plants that is around the nest and one of the small gators. Here I learn they team up to watch the nest. i did not know it or read it. Just watching this nest I learned. I do have a photo of the big one eating some of those plants wow but it was all texture looking for the gator rocked back and forth eating the plant. A plant most people which would go away for it do take out air in the water so the fish can not breaths
thanks for looking and comments too.

Great capture and textures, Jock!!!
Nice one Jock!! Be careful out there!!! :)
Wouldn't it be nice if we can get the gators to get rid of some of our pest. Nice shot. Aloha
....Du lebst ganz schön gefährlich! Immer in der Nähe von Krokodil-Müttern!!! Wieder eine sehr interessante Aufnahme!!!! .... You live quite dangerously! Always close to crocodile mothers!!! Again a very interesting admission!!!!
何だか意味深な写真ですね、時間のマジックでしょうか!!!!!
I used to have some of those water hyacinth in my pond but they went wild and covered it in no time at all. I didn't put no gator in to cure it though, they would have made short work of my fish. I wonder what meat dish she ate before her salad. Great shot on a slow speed Jocko, it gives that sense of movement and makes it look like she is going quite fast in the water. I find it hard to imagine what it must be like, to jump in the car and drive down to the lake to watch gators in the wild. Thanks for taking me down there, through your camrera's lens. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
Better be careful :o) ...great shot !!!!
Cool looking shot Jock. Nice your getting some good shots of her

Very interesting info and a fascinating picture.
A fine shot.I guess that there is a lot that can be learned just from watching.
WOW sense of movement!!!!!!
If you stay in your truck, it makes me wonder who they worry will steal their eggs. It's neat to see the kind of swamp plants they're in, too.
Fantastic image...Splendid capture!!!
Great capture Jocko!
Great capture Jock; but I wouldn't want be that close ;-)
well, since we're seeing this photo... it's logical to assume you kept your feet dry and ready to leave at a moments notice ; ) Cool image
A glimpse at the gator !!! WARNING !!! SUPERB !!!

Wow, the blur really gives the sense of action here, and very spooky with him swimming towards you!
I did not know they laid eggs!!! Cool shot!
They are pretty, ear-shaped leaves! Cool alligator pic! (:
WOW! I never knew they teamed up like that either! That's a scarey thought!! Awesome pic, looks like this one's moving pretty fast, too.
