Description
Sarcophaga carnaria(Flesh Fly)
Went out to feed the fish yesterday and saw this fly sunbathing on the rim of one of Paulines plant pots. I fed the fish went back into the house for my camera and it was still there. It posed for a couple of shots, then I got too close and the shadow of the lens fell across it and it was off, to sunnier climes no doubt.
Thanks for stopping by for a look and for any comments you care to make.
May the bird of paradise fly up your nose.
