I have been taking photos of a relatively short stretch of the Thames for just over 40 years but, fortunately for me, it is always changing and I have never taken two shots that were the same. They may have the same overall subject matter but the various elements of the scene are never the same. To illustrate the point, here is another shot of the island I pass on my way to and from work but this time, the clouds were irresistible. I sometimes think that, if I'd stood in one spot and taken one picture a day for all those years, each shot would have something to differentiate it from it's fellows and that some would be better than others and may, even, turn out to be great or awful even though they should all be the same. I suppose that's the joy of photography - so many factors involved to get a good image. :-) Sorry for rambling - hope you like this offering.
