Description
As promised. Here is the green damsel from the same lily patch hunting grounds as the orange damsel that I posted yesterday. Remember it's size is around one and one quarter inch long, the long thin part of its body about the diameter of a pencil lead refill.
The meal looks to me to be a tiny hoverfly or bee. Thanks for looking and for all of the comments. -GB-
Still thinking of a newer camera, one with the ability to exchange to a macro lens....someday

....es ist immer ein Glück, wenn man ein Insekt beim Verspeisen seiner Beute erwischt! Tolle Aufnahme!!!!
those water drops really help give some scale to the size. Excellent clarity.

Great macro! Gee they have quite a difference in looks huh? I think I like the orange one better but she is pretty too!
Great capture. It is not easy to get this clean a shot of such a tiny subject. Well done. Thanks for sharing. Lee
I like this bug
Striking! great green tones everywhere, and love the lay of all the lines, bravo!!!
What a great shot! Catching him at mealtime! I enjoyed photographing a dragonfly last week, it would fly off its perch and grab a bug and come back and eat it. I captured a wing sticking out of his mouth .. that was it. YOU DID GREAT here!
good shot!
