Description
Well, Quatermass always was a bit of a grump, but here I think he's going a bit far. You can tell why our space programme failed to (ahem) get off the ground ^^
With this one I wanted to get the feel of those 'Galaxy' and 'Colliers' type covers.
Thanks for all the encouragement with these ladies and germs - really appreciate it^^

Excellent sci fi, classic , well done..
I really think this is a great dynamic image, the only thing for me is the ship in the background looks a little out of proportion to the earth, otherwise I love this pic,.
The orange and white rocket is behind the wheel, coming at it from a docking angle. It is actually scaled to the wheel. The small tug is closer to the camera, but is also in scale. The shadow on the wheel is from the central hub.
Splendid illustration...bravissimo!V:DDD.Hugsxx
Fabulous retro cover, I like it!
NIce cover, as always. It's been so much fun to follow these. I can't wait to see the next one!
Nicely done!!!
In this picture is possible to see clearly you country (England) and my country (Italy). Is it perhaps a tribute to both our works (to me for the meshes and to you for the art)? :) Just a suggestion: many times is difficult to make understand the scale of objects in outer space. Usually I work with focus in Photoshop, outfocusing more the farest objects. Anyway a fantastic render!:)
Very good presentation!
I think that the good Professor Quatermass should rethink his statement. Both the British and American Space Programs work from the same data and have similar goals plus Quartermass likes to play poker with Von Braun and ... they do talk shop ;) A little bit of Alternate History fun :) I love these covers!!!
wonderful as always mate.
It's that @$#%'d C. Bonestell...gotta watch him...;) Great stuff from the age I was in diapers...;) keep 'em coming.
Wonderful nostalgic look at sci fi- I enjoy this image!
Great retro cover art. You're quite the prolific producer of some mighty fine work.
