SO well seen Jodie & beautifully presented! Yes, they were some doozies weren't they? A tree fell out front, crashing down next to our flagpole & on top of my Peony bush :( I think it will be okay though. This is gorgeous, I just love this Jodie. I love browsing the gallerys here; something like this is what gives me ideas, and keeps my eyes more peeled for things to shoot. Thank you. :)

I love how you captured the red veins of the leaves and how the sun makes them luminous & shining, almost from inside. It's all the more touching because of the droplets clinging to them. Another of your portraits of nature which feel simple, delicate & new.
