Description
A clear stream in the forest. A few items modeled in Modo but the rest is all Carrara. I used the C6 displacement painting feature to add the ripples to the water - much faster and nicer than using Carrara's displacement channel of the shaders.

Great work. Must take forever to render though? Keith
It looks so natural, I would have mistaken it for a photograph if it hadn't been in the Carrara gallery.

Wonderful peaceful secret spot. Can you tell me how to get there? I would like to read a book listening to the gurgling water. C6 displacement painting feature to add the ripples to the water? How would you paint ripples?

Excelente render, modeling and ilumination. I like all scene, but the water is great... Congratulations...
Again I´m green of envy, how do you make this images?
Wonderful and realistic nature scene! Love the dead trees, and the understory plants and river rocks really sell this as being real.

Just breathtaking, Amazing wow.....
I have never seen Carrara work such as yours. It's quite impressive. The color and shape variation of the pebbles is just perfect, the water is perfect, everything is technically perfect and, on top of it, this is one very beautiful place, one that seems alive.
Stunning realism!
Amazing composition and textures, awesome lighting and render, great photorealism!!
