The Border Collie is a breed of herding dog that originated in the border country of England and Scotland. They are widely regarded as the most intelligent dog breed. Border Collies are highly energetic, and as a result have a tendency towards neurotic or destructive behaviour if not given enough to do. They are still frequently used on farms all over the world for assisting with the handling of livestock, and they have also become popular as pet and sport dogs. This is Gina 12 years old and still active working at a farm on the island Öland, Sweden. My German shepheard Elli (7 years) has a great respect for this dog and every time we visit Gina has her very intensive eyes on her which makes Elli a little uncomfortable *LOL*.
