Description
Nikon 7900 pocket camera - hand held image.
This week I will post very young and/or very small critter images.
This first one shows some ants on a globular shaped flower. I added to the sphere shape a bit with some digital manipulations.

WHO IS THE OTHER BEETLE SNEAKING UP ON THE ANT? NICE JOB
great capture and postwork. With WARM and wet weather here in the UK I came home to find my kitchen work surface covered with ants only two days back, took a lot of cleaning to get rid. I still don't know where they came in from. I'm not in the habit of killing creatures not if I can help it but made me a little paranoid and had to go buy some powder.
What a gem_great capture
I love your flower world! Those ants are fabulous!
....was für eine tolle Macro-Aufnahme! Ich bin begeistert!!!!!!!!
Marvellous!
Great shot. I like the bit of post work you've done.
Nice shot - remembers me to the film "Horton hears a who." Good work.
Love the roundness and very cool shot!!
A terrific work. Love it's title also ;O)
Very subtle postwork Lee, they look quite large to me are they wood ants? Not too long ago, I thought an ant was an ant, I didn't know how many different species there was. I do now, I think: (Of the estimated 11,006 or so described species (Sleigh, 2003) of ant living throughout the world today, Britain has no more than 50). http://www.antnest.co.uk/species.html Superb capture of this particular one, which ever one it is, I know I would not like to name them. Excellent as always. Bravo!!!!!
COOL SHOT..
Very lovely capture.
Very nice macro shot! Splendid details. Bunny
Great, what is it?
Most befitting idea to this excellent shot.
