Description
This was taken in April at the Port of Edmonds. I was down there doing some shooting for a local contest. (They were looking for vertical images suitable for the front of our yearly tourist guide.) I found this shot in my archives, along with three others, that I took that day and never posted here. I'll try to remember to show them to you!
What I was going for was something pretty, and that the composition would accommodate a banner.

Excellent capture! So bright and clear, and even the little water drops on the petals. Did you win?

Oh yes, without a doubt, a real winner! A splendiferous POV, and marvelous backlighting permeates this wonderful capture of the radiant tulips. You've struck it rich with your acumen and proficiency behind the camera, my dear!

Stunning work Tara... I love the POV! :)
Wonderful foreground, mid ground but not sure about the cars in the background, but then tourists need them to get there I guess. Lol.#;0) I know I'm a bit of a wag. Superb capture of colour and warmth, what more could a tourist ask for on entering a town. Such a nice warm welcome, the colourtones are fantastic Tara and the dropplets just add to the whole image.
