More from a backlighting session in my fabulous, state-of-the-art studio! :)
Ummm ... that would be my living room window. Its big claim to fame is that it faces South, and gets great afternoon light.
Bought flowers at the store, put 'em in the window, there ya go!

Superb Tara! An English saying for what you describe is "and Bob's your uncle!" ......Now where does that come from? The books never rarely explain the origin only the meaning of these sayings.
I love the way you have captured that crepe-paper quality thee petals have........the light is perfect for this image........and you just put 'em there........'and Fanny's your aunt'.
What no SNEAK factor for shame LOL Stunning shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great studio work Tara!!! Love these roses with the almost paperly petals!!! Stunning! :)
My mother used to spend hours making crepe paper roses, she made hundreds, nay thousands for the floats in a May Day procession. These very much remind me of them, the texture in the petals is just like she made them. I also mean this as a compliment Tara as she did make the most fantastic paper blooms, people thought they were real. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
superbes roses !!!
Lovely! the light, shadow and texture make them look like paper roses, neat effect!
GORGEOUS!
