Description
The Monrovian Caribbean Star a banana boat at Dover Docks after unloading her cargo and just about to put to sea again with some black smoke from her engines and lights around the ship and harbour in the early evening which did not show off those famous white cliffs in the background, taken after one of my mini Euro trips.

I prefer to use the tunnel now Danny, the ferry is OK but I have difficulty with the stairs and the lift is always full when I get there. Superb capture, wonderful ship, not overly bothered about the cliffs, the ship was the main subject and that shows spot on. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!

Unbelievably gorgeous image! The clarity and flawless focus is superb, and creates the most desirable and appealing mood for it’s viewers. The scene looks so calm and peaceful, unlike what one would usually expect from a busy marina. Superb lighting and capture… I’m in awe by that sky!

I have sailed out of Dover on many occassions but have never seen it look this beautiful! The mood and atmosphere you have captured is glorious and the white cliffs are, although not prominent, still unmistakable and create a perfect backdrop to the scene here. Excellent shot. Hugs xx
