Description
When cleaning out the garage for the graduation party, I found a full bag of rat food, unopened, left over from when we had rats for pets :-) so, I thought I'd dump the entire bag out near the bird feeder, knowing some critters would come along and devour it. When I went out in our 'jungle' out front the other day, I heard this rustling in the tall grass to the left of me. Boris (our cat) as usual, was following me on my right, she didn't hear it. But when I spotted this little guy, I thought omg, how CUTE is that. Cheeks all puffed and stuffed with as much as he could cram in there, he sat there still as could be, just looking at me like this. (he was probably thinking oh great, a CAT) I clicked away, Boris oblivious to it all .. and when I got a few shots, I said "common Boris, let's go...", with the hopes she wouldn't spot it. And, she didn't. lol That was fun. :-) Hope you are all having a nice weekend; the weekend weather here in Minnesota couldn't possibly be any better. Shari

Cool capture of the ravenous squirrel busy pigging out on the rat food. Looks like something out of an old Disney movie. One of Snow White's entourage. Aren't chipmunks also one of the rodent family? Maybe I'll check it out on Google. As for Boris.... I tawt I taw a putty tat! It was, it was, a putty tat!
