He he! Me looking at this, Mick, is a bit like you looking at the abstracty building I posted yesterday! I quite enjoy train in the flesh, so to speak, for example York museum which I thought was great. However I can see what a super composition the photo is and the same for the virtual image. My lodger, trainhead V8bluebottle, must see these when he gets back from work at the weekend!

Seems to me the only difference is the real shot has loads of spaghetti in the sky. I have never been on for simulators myself, but I could maybe find trainz interesting, especially if it covers the whole of the UK and you can have steam engines. I don't know why but I assumed they were either deisel or electric, the 'Flying Scotsman' was my mates favourite train of all time. If he was still around he would have gone for that. Superb work on both images Mick, I can tell you are proud of the one you built yourself and rightly so. Bravo!!!!!

Well, the part about the computer program and all the trains is greek to me, but I love this shot of the cross country train. Looks very sleek and modern, indeed!

I have never played with an animated train game, but it must be interesting.I would surely wreck the train.when I played Nascar games I would turn around and go the wrong direction trying for a head on crash with other cars both are excellent captures Mick
