Hi, This is the rose my son received at his Graduation Ceremony. I thought I'd take its portrait. :-) Thanks for your time, views & comments. Have a lovely evening. Shari

Excellent capture Shari.
For sure, the longest lasting graduation ceremonies in history! Terrific shot of the beautiful red rose in the wonderful setting, Sharilyn. I have a terrible time displaying red roses. Unless they're captured in bright light, they don't have the fine contrast and definition like yours above.
Lovely.
nicely presented Shari
lovely shot
Beautiful. I have photos of the roses my daughter recieved... You will see them soon;) I like how you have composed this shot.
quite beautiful.... for some reason it also has hints of bittersweet (the good kind)
Oh wow... this is just fabulous! You should make it into a greeting card! *****

A wonderful image, very well done!!
A lovely memento that I'm sure your son will deeply appreciate in the years to come.
Beautiful rose!!!
An excellent shot Shari, especially at ISO 1000, seems a tad high for me. If it works like this I might give it a try myself. Superb detail retained in the rose petals, certainly one to put in a treasure chest for him in later life, a box full of memories. Bravo!!!!!
Wow! What a spectacularly crisp picture of a glorious red rose. Wonderful work, Shari. Bravo! Hugs, Mike
