Just another shot of this bumpy caterpillar. I hope to find a few chrysalis of this species so I can monitor the emergence.
Thanks to those who take the time to comment.

Very interesting. I hope you can do a sequence on this species as well.
such a grainy skin it has. You really got in close so we could see that. Spectacular shot.
..gut, dass sich die Raupe so tarnen kann und erst als Schmetterling auffällig ist. Wieder eine schöne Aufnahme von diesem "Tier"
Wonderful! By the way, my caterpillars pic is of Peacock, not Red Admiral. I wondered why there was so lttle web!
I didn't notice yesterday but it looks like it is encrusted with tiny pearls. I know nothing about caterpillars Lee, does it have eyes? If so are they those four black dots, in a sort of semi circle? or are they on the end of that white stalk like thing sticking down? Whatever they are I guess it needs something to see it's way around. Excellent shot, fantastic detail. Bravo!!!!!
great shot
These really are fascinating, I've never seen anything like this. Great capture of the details and texture.
Very nice macro work.
Great photograph. Never saw this before, thanks for sharing.
