Description
Two of these large trees grow on the grounds of the church of which I am a part. The flowers may reach up to 12" across and are fragrant. This makes a stunning tree, reminescent of a summer evening and mint julips or iced tea in a tall tumbler.
Those who want a perfect manicured grass lawn will find the fallen leaves like leather..pick up the leaves rather than try to mulch these. : )

Wonderful capture of the sweet white beauty hiding in a leaves.
The magnolias around the Capitol Building are blooming. Those trees are nearly 100 years old and they tower over everything. The flowers are the size of dinner plates. This is exactly what they look like. The lighting on this is perfect. It really makes this so dramatic.
A sensitive and beautiful capture, Tom. Your lighting is so perfect, the bloom looks sunkissed. Gorgeous shot. Hugs and God Bless. Diane.
