Description
Alan Tracy heads the mighty rescue rocket Thunderbird 3 towards the space monitor Thunderbird 5.
Ah, Thunderbirds - it, Captain Scarlet and Dr Who were the soundtracks to my childhood in the early 70s.
Earth texture from NASA, TB3 by Hoagland, and TB5 was a Bandai plastic model PhotoShopped in... (Cos no-one has made one - and I can't be bothered, lol)
Hope you enjoy it.

Xcellent rendering work!
That's great, classic SF adventure!
Another wonderful journey into my childhood, excellent image Iain
yeah, the Anderson supermarionations were FAB!... just like this image!
I loved the show as a kid! Nice sense of motion with some great engine flare effects!!
Xcellent work!
Thunderbirds was a fun series but that movie ... missed the mark ay a bit ;) Lets not forget Supercar, Fireball XL-5 and those purple wigged beauties from UFO or the Eagles from Space 1999. The Andersons were a large part of my childhood.
Wow! A very "Andersonian" image! Bravo! Take a look to my whole gallery to see many Anderson's stuff in 3D! :)
Brilliant. Wonderful Image. Do you have Thunderbird 2 in action with the Mole Machine? That was a good episode.... But great Pic. More please.
Superb space shot, I have a half finished TB5 somewhere, I just didn't have the patience to finish it, maybe I will now??.Love the POV of this and the sense of motion.
Very nice. Great motion blur.
