Description
Taken at a place called "Hell" in the Groot Winterhoek Mountains, South Africa, sometime in the mid 1980s. It's one of my favourite spots on the planet - a six-hour hike followed by a precipitous 200m climb down to a mountain pool the size of a football field. And this guy's around to deal with anyone who doesn't respect the mountain code...
Pentax SLR; resizing, framing and signature in Photoshop CS3.
Thanks for looking and commenting if you do, and have a great weekend.

Too cool! I've always wanted to make a gargoyle costume that would look like stone, I'll have to keep this photo in mind if I ever try it.
Fantastic textures and colors in this, Craig. Excellent shot and presentation. Fascinating image with such fine detail.
This is wicked ( in a good way). Fantastic find and thanks to share this form.
