Description
These two Vietnamese women are wearing the traditional Ao Dai, a very light and beautiful garment.
This picture was taken in July 1967 on DaNang AB as a slide. A print was made in 1969 ($1.05 per print) and this print was scanned in 2004.

Great "life" capture. Very nice!
I always read all the comments before I make my own Sig, I have to smile at some of them, at least at the younger ones. Like I didn't know they had high heels in the sixties, where do they think the mini skirt and heeels came from? Lol. A lot of the younger generation think they invented the word COOL and its meaning, in the sixties it was 'cool man' 'way to go', and I guess they were using it way before my time as well. I join you in thinking they look sexy as well, they don't have to be wearing bikini's or just underwear to look sexy. Also the price of prints, yes thank God for digital, I dread to add up the money I have spent on having film developed, much less slides to prints. I have volumes of photographs mostly of my children growing up but it was expensive. Superb capture of these two lovely young ladies, I can certainly see why you took it. So glad you scanned and shared it. Bravo!!!!!
