May 19, 2008: So, I was out in the back yard with camera in hand, just seeing if anything worthy was going on. I've been experimenting with exposure & using alternate semi-auto programs on the EOS XTi. On this occasion, the English Sparrow couple roosting in our bird house was apparently feeling amorous. As I shot a series on their antics, my first thought was "the Honeymooners," but I quickly realized that a LOLSpeak version of Shapkespeare's most celebrated romantic tragedy was more apropos. Obviously, it's going to take at least 12 days for me to share the whole series here, and a couple of the otherwise nice shots are compromised by unfortunate shadows, but it may be entertaining to check out the whole caboodle (some of the captions actually crack ME up..) The caption I assigned to this is: "Iz look to like, if lookin' likin' move, but no moar deep will I endart meh eye than UR consent gives stren'th 2 maek it fly."
