Description
Lens evaluation time again.. I rented a Canon 200mm f/2.8 L II as another step in the process of deciding what glass I want next. I haven't had a good opportunity to explore its capabilities as yet, but even with the simple English Sparrow, the strengths of the focus accuracy & speed are evident. I was a little surprised at the amount of colour dispersion present, but due to a limited understanding of the nature of contrast & backlighting and all, I'm not going to run screaming just yet.

An extraordinary shot. I do like the exposure on this and of course the subject's pose is priceless.
