Description
another big cityscape..I've been making up a library of greebled cityscape parts & thought it time to put them to use.
scene modeled in 3dsmax,mostly instanced geometry,polycount is around 5million,rendered using finalrender with some post in Photoshop
I also made an animated version .tweaked in after effects,15mb quicktime

Wow, what a sprawl, well done! Thanks for the poly count, nice to know what getting this kind of scale is going to cost in memory. Thanks also for the movie, watching the vehicles fly through adds to the immensity of scale. Strange motion aliasing though when I watched the play back. Cars moved at a pace for three or four frames and then took a little faster jump, giving the effect of a pulsing motion. As a test maybe nothing to worry about but it gave me something to puzzle over with my morning coffee. Fantastic as always.
