Description
We left Prineville and drove up into the hills to see a lake Jill particularly likes, but the road was still closed. After being in 95-degree heat all day, it was weird to see snow!
We turned around and went back to Jill's, where I took a few pictures and then took a nap.
This sunflower, along with some of its friends, was near a window in Jill's kitchen. I know there are those of you who will enjoy a break from all the high desert photos!

Fantastic centring and sublim colors... a great composition Tara!
No, Tara, no 95 here - the hottest thing for some time has been your glorious sunflower [aren't they so very well named?]. The cropping works extremely well a focusses the eye beautifully. Mike
Whoa, my screen just melted! What a spectacular shot of this sunflower! I may have to keep this window open so I can look at it occasionally on this gray and dismal day.
