Gorgeous capture of a flower nearing the end of its time with us.
Ahhh, the glorious tulip. Most of mine have neared the end of their blooming, now. This is one plant that I so wished would continue blooming all Summer long. Alas, they have their time and season.

Methinks we are one with nature - though too often we can't admit it, or think we're beyond all that! The title is so good - the flower caught at the very moment before the petals are shed, and the long process of seed production begins out of sight of casual eyes. Excellent. Mike
