morning all :o)
this is a fledgling blackbird although i think it is maybe out the nest a bit early .its underneath the fuchia hedge i have at the front and its mum and dad are still feeding it .i`ve been protecting it as much as possible from the neighbours cat and its parents are doing a great job of protecting it too .this will be its third day on the floor and its still doing well ,i`ve just checked :o)..this was just a quick shot so as not to disturb it or or its parents hence the rubbish in the shot

Hi Mick, we had a fledging just the same and it stayed in my garden with its parents feeding it for about 5 days all told, then myself and one of my dogs just disturbed it one day and it flew into the cherry blossom tree. It's mother joined it and looked down on me, with her head to one side. I like to think she was thanking me for helping her baby fly on his maiden flight LOL Great capture Mick, hugs Jane xx

there was a young dove in my driveway yesterday.I went back out and it was gone.hopefully it was able to fly beautiful bird and capture
