morning all :o)
this is a dandelion seed head .a weed thats invasive and something i normally would`nt give a second look, but i was inspired by piet and phill with their pics of them to actually look at them a bit closer :o)..i like the result of this being that you can clearly see where the seeds come away from the plant .
clocks or wishie`s is what we called these as kids also i remember being told that if you blew the seeds off you would wet the bed :o)

A bit different in this part of the country Mick, if you picked the flowers you wet the bed, but the seeds told you the time, you used to count the number of blows you made to get all the seeds off, but if you blew more than twelve you started back at one. We never used the 24 hour clock then. Lol. Excellent macro mate, I have often thought of doing one myself, but the wife sprays them with weed killer, so I never get one. Superb detail on the head itself, where the seeds have detached it looks like a pin prick. Bravo!!!!!
