Description
Here's the first bit of my trip ... the flight from Seattle, Washington to Redmond, Oregon. It's about 300 miles, and takes about 50 minutes by plane. The window on the flight going down was absolutely horrid, but I wanted you to see what the trip was like, so I'm posting them anyway. I figure a collage will distract you, and you won't notice the poor quality!
..........
Top image: The plane I flew in, sitting on the tarmac at Seattle.
Second image: Lake Washington, Mercer Island, and Bellevue. Planes take off heading North out of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, and in order to head South, they bank fairly steeply as they turn around. This gives passengers on the right-hand side of the plane a great view! (I sat there on purpose.)
Center left: Mount Saint Helens, in Washington. You can clearly see the side that blew out.
Center right: Mount Jefferson, in Oregon.
Second from bottom: Almost to the Redmond airport. Left to right - Mount Bachelor, Three Sisters, Black Butte, and Mount Jefferson.
Bottom image: On the tarmac at Redmond, Oregon, waiting to taxi to the terminal. That's Mount Jefferson (right) and Black Butte (left) in the background.
..........
I hope you've enjoyed your flight today!
By the way ... full view will be a little bigger, if you want a closer look.

Coffe, tea, or me??? Great fotos, really shows us your flight!!
I enjoyed the flight immensely! Wow, you really got to see the mountains which must have been a real treat. I love the Mercer Island picture since I've never seen that area before, let alone from above. What a trip we are going to have!
Really get a bird's eye view here...nice collage....
"Thank you for flying with Tara-air today" This is great! Both the shots and the narrative!
Yep, I got 'em all right. But then I should, shouldn't I? LOL Next time take a long-handled brush and wash the outside of your window before you take off. You have to make some sacrifices for your art, you know. :-)
EXCELLENT CAPTURE & COLLAGE !!!!!
Cool entertaining collage Tara. You show us what you did experienced on your flight, excelent idea.
..yeah...I like that last brown scrubbie shot !
Sort of feels like I took the trip with you. :-) wonderful series of shots.

Fantastic collage.Superb work.
fantastic collage colors, light and perfect
Very impressive series of images!
These are great images! The poor window quality just makes the impression realistic, so don't worry :)
OH yes so very beautiful shots and I agree with MasterLuke.
Great photographs - even if I can't look at them for too long. I couldn't even glance out of a 'plane window let alone take photographs! You have my sincere admiration. Mike
excellent collage. beautiful
Great shots dear T ! :o)
Very exciting!
i love to see different places
Excellent set of captures, and I still think anyone who gets on one of those things, has courage to the max!:))
Nice collage...It's so hard to do those mountains justice....When I went flying with my son I took pictures of them and there so much more beautiful then what came out on the camera....glad you had a great trip.
In spite of the window over which you have no control a super collage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was a fantastic experience! Great shots and collage, as I scrolled I felt I was on a journey.
Yes, where are we going next? It was fun to see your shots and try and figure out what was what. Too bad your window was so sucky! But your caps are great anyway, just like real life you have to be able to look past the spots to the real beauty!
I've been so many times in Washington and Oregon ! Thanks for sharing.
Those puddle jumpers can be an experience. I took a flight from LA to SF on a turbo prop plane in 1989. It was so bad people were tossing their cookies all over the place. Anyway, it turned out to be an omen because 2 days later I was stuck in the great quake of '89. I hope you had much more fun in Oregon!!!
Hi Tara May did not notice any flaws so intent was I in staring at such wonderful captures thanks for the smiles you bring many come around sweet sunshine to you warm hug and love, Linda Kaye
I like flying alot better this way. The shots of all the mountains is so great to see on a clear day. And I didn't even have to get drunk to fly lol.
