Description
I took this image of the leopard female in the Thorny Bush Private Game Reserve in South Africa.
This old gal is 13 years old. You can see that the hair at the top of her ears are virtually all gone! However, she has got poise and still carry herself with pride. She was also still in very good condition last year in June when this pic was taken. My favourite cat by far!!!
Thank you for stopping by my gallery and for any comments you wish to make.
Hugs, Carin xx

Great work indeed, stunning that you actually got to see one. I was not that fortunate on my visit to the Park. Cheers, Clive

She is absolutely gorgeous! Her coat looks like pure velvet and her eyes tell a story all on their own! Stunning capture Carin, crazy I know but I would so love to touch one of these magnificent creatures!
An amazing animal and capture. Love it ;O)
Great shot!!!
Superb shot. impressive colours and camouflage
remind me never to stray from your 'good books' if this is the kind of cat you're friend with ;) if i was being super-critical I might suggest the eyes could be a tad sharper..but I'm not so I'll just congratulate you on a very nice shot of a beautiful animal =)
Excellent shot. Like the blending with her habitat. But I am not a cat person and don’t like cats like that to close to me.
A great picture.
Excellent capture Carin.
You get such wonderful close-ups!!!
Fab capture, and very well spotted in the grass
Gorgeous cat! I love the details you've captured and yeah, the "balding" ear tips are a nice touch here! Great work, as always.
