Nikon 7900 pocket camera - hand held image.
This is probably my favorite species of frog. They are pretty calm, slow moving, and don't hop very well, lol.
Sometimes they have no spots and even rarely have no stripes. They come in green, gray, and light brown.
They are about 1 1/4 (32mm) long.
I hope you like them as well because I think I am going to post images of this one all week. I had a good 30 minute session with him/her recently and got a number of great shots.
Thanks to those who take the time to comment.

A great capture. Looking forward to the others.
He is a beautiful tree frog! We have more of the brown ones here I think. I haven't seen many green frogs other than bull frogs but in the smaller frogs I have seen many of the small brown ones. This is so real. Not like your typical flat image of a frog. Awesome!
Very beautiful frog and shot...:o)
All so green! Well done on finding him in the first place! Cheers, Clive
I got a brief mental image of your frog 'in make-up' before the start of your 30 minute session! A marvellous photo, I look forward to the rest!
Gorgeous image of this slimy friend! How you saw him in the first place is beyond me!! :)
A perfect sitting model, he must want his portrait to capture him on his good side. A wonderful portrait of him, well done.
Splendid close up. Wonderful details ;O)
Exquisite macro! Really superb!
Well done. look forward to the rest.
