Description
Nikon 7900 pocket camera - hand held image.
I have not posted an image of a Ladybug in quite some time. I have seen and even captured better looking specimens than this one but I liked the flower enough to put this in my ready to post file despite the fact that the bug is a bit dishelved, lol.
Thanks to those who take the time to comment.

The colors are so Vivid! a beautiful compo... congrats
The composition is wonderful! I don't know, Lee...I find that 98% of my shots are handheld. I don't even mention it any more. And I got to tell you, your handhelds are so stellar! Great work.

Perfect macro!!
Aaaahhh - what a sweet and gorgeous macro capture! Excellent work!!
A great compo!
Excellent image Lee, she does look a bit battered though. Love the colour tones of that flower. I'm glad you decided to post it. Bravo!!!!!
Colors and detail are spot on. Well done
So nice and sweet ;O)
Another stunning work Details, colors and dof are magnificent
I actually like the fact that this bug has some wear and tear. It really gives it character. Most of the time, one looks like the next. And a perfect BG flower in there too. Nice one.
wonderful!
What a perfect capture - love the colors!
Stunning image and a wonderful macro! Well seen and caught!
As always a beautiful sight. Muy bueno.
I love this capture. The contrasting colors are fabulous. Excellent capture. Bunny
Wonderful ! I think I will paint it.
I like the desheviled-ness of the bug, too -- gives it some character. Man, the fact that this is hand-held blows me away. You must have a very steady hand. The narrow depth-of-field does it alot of favors, too; makes it seem like we're down in the bug's tiny little world, seeing things from a different perspective. There has just been a knock on my window so I must leave you now, as I suspect I shall be discussing current affairs with a june bug long into the night. Thank you for sharing this amazing image.
Great capture A flower and ladybug too Susan~
