Description
I 'caught' this fellow during lunch too! This is a Waterbuck male and I took the image in the Kruger National Park in South Africa. The females do not have horns. They have a very distinct white ring around their buttocks! I will look for a pic that shows this marking! They are also one of the larger antelope found in Southern Africa.

Carin, you have caught this animal in the most delightful pose, a great shot my friend!!
As always, Carin, a superbly clear and well composed image. It is indeed a beautiful animal with magnificent horns. I laughed out loud when I learned that the females have 'targets' printed on - I know, I'm incorrigible! Great picture, dear Carin. Hugs Mike xx
