Description
This is just the top of an old pier post on the slough of Humboldt Bay, near Eureka, California. I loved the color, this is pretty much just what it looks like, REALLY!!

Pleasantly propitious to peer out over the pier to photograph this pummeled post! I really like the POV, hues, tints and textural effects depicted in this shot of the old stalwart warrior, all battered and weatherworn after years of duty, Marilyn.
