Description
Two old friends of mine. When I came to Arizona from Colorado, I had to give up my water based gold prospecting. In it's place, I adopted the desert way of using gravity and air called drywashing. I built this drywasher, reminicent of drywashers of yore, and used it in the deserts of Arizona to irritate the Vinagroons and Tarantulas. When in full swing, it sounds like a gatling gun from the bellows working air through the baffles. It now sits in my front yard. There is a series of pulleys and a belt missing from it.

Interesting machine and history, did it work?
Nifty necessity is the mother of all invention!!
It worked great. The desert critters never ceased to be amused. Sometimes cowboys driving the cows to the windmill would hear my noise and come to see what the hell was going on. Thanks guys.
Very cool, thanks for the information and sharing your friends with us!
You're welcome. And thank you.
But did you FIND any gold, that's what we want to know?! ;=D dO keep up the good work! DPH
Gold! Gold!
Interesting!
Thanks guys. I have found gold, but not in amounts over a gram. I keep hoping to stumble upon that half ounce pocket, but it just has not happened....yet. I did find water once though digging for gold....that was odd.
