Description
A cold diet Pepsi
On a brisk spring morning
Is just a little slice of heaven to me
Sometimes I think back
On all of the places
I have been to
All of the things I have seen
I have had days
Where I felt like I was king of the world
And I have had days
Where I just wanted to crawl away and die
I have kissed more beautiful women
Then I probably should have
But it just doesn't seem enough
I have had enough money
To buy just about anything I wanted
And I have been so poor
I couldn't even pay my bills
One thing is for sure
I have tried to live life to the fullest
I tried to squeeze every drop of juice
Out of this big beautiful orange called life
And if there is one thing I have learned
It is this
Together is the best place to be
I was looking through the gallery this morning and ran across tennesseecowgirl site and there was just something about her picture and the title that she put with it that just hit me right and it inspired me to write this poem. I highly recommend that you visit her site if you are not familiar with it. I love how different artist can inspire us with their art. I hope everyone likes this one. Randy

Ahh...first disagreement, Randy. Diet Coke is the best! LOL Seriously, another excellent poem. Life is so short, that if we don't squeeze that orange once in awhile, we find that it can eventually dry up and run out of juice.
