Description
I met up today with Maria aka Cavalier Lady who was over here on holiday and we went to the Hawk Conservancy.. This was one of the shots I took that we were trying to get a decent shot of.. We had a mixture of rain and a few finer spells so tricky conditions and not too good light..
So one for our friend.. Maria it was wonderful to meet up with you..

excellent image, what a beautiful owl !!
Beautiful bird and great shot with the prey!
That look on his face tells me he doesn't want anyone to mess with his meal. LOL Fantastic photo!
What a great time you two much have had! :) Great find and capture Danny. Prey and all. :-/ lol
Great shot man. You sure do love that Milky Owl don't you? Can't say as I blame you though. It is so beautiful and graceful.
nice shot. congrats on the day.
I'm taken with this face. The droopy eyes, the downturn of the corners of the mouth, the expression is priceless. Great capture. And how wonderful you spent time with Maria. I love her work with song birds and other small birds.
How lovely to meet up with Maria, I'm sure you had a great day out. This is a super capture, he looks to be looking down his nose at me.
Super shot of this great owl. My curiosity is getting the best of me as I find myself wondering what is the prey. :-)
Wow, what a fantastic shot, and even better you got to meet Maria. ;o) Excellent image. I love the eyes on this owl. He seems to not have a care in the world now that dinner is at his feet.
OMG, This one looks just like my old German school teatcher LOL. Fantastic shot!

He /she is saying hands off this is my dinner, if you are hungry go find your own. Lol. Excellent capture Danny, a small rabbit maybe? for the Owls dinner that is not yours. Love the birds expression. You must have had a good day, in good company as well. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
WOW!!! Oustanding work!!
A full featured day. The image is more approachable without the wary pupils.
Just a little moment (I work for my exhibition) to say: "again a fabulous capture Danny" !;-)
