I have not uploaded so many gallery images in such a short time..here is one more, taken a day ago. My loved wife loves yellow roses and gets a bunch each anniversary, one for each year of our marriage.
She wanted one in our shadowy yard, with only one place with enough sunlight for roses. Here is a flower shot of a bloom.
With so many fine flower photogs on this site, I almost hesitate to upload a single rose shot. Well, I like it and she does and that counts for me.
Nikon D70, Sigma 50mm macro, small center weighted metering off of subject. The same lens was used for the previous phlox photo.

The yellow rose is special to me and I have 3 different ones. I don't think any of them are as big and bold as this one. Your wife is very lucky... yellow rose bouquets are not always easy to find but to look at this shot, I think you have enough for a bouquet right there on that bush. Gorgeous shot.
