Description
I have done it! I have purchased my dream - the brand new Canon 450D last Saturday. At this stage I am still overwhelmed by all the bells and whistles, but hopefully I will get to know it quickly. The collage is made up from a few bits and pieces I just shot around my garden - with the new toy.
My excitement is unsurpassed but by bank balance doesn't look all that happy anymore! :(
Thank you for all your support!
Hugs, Carin xx

Splendid acquisition in this new "toy," as represented in this marvelous collage of various and sundry objects. Now you're all set to conquer new vistas and bring us new wonders.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with! :)
What a wonderful collage Carin and I hope you go out and try to wear out your new tooy as often as possible :)
congrats Karin on your new mighty toy and beautiful garden. wish you make millions more wonderful captures.
Wishing you many hours of happy shooting! Cheers, Clive
well done !
that's a really great collage Carin, seriously - much better than my excited 'shot of new camera' when I got mine..! speaking of which good choice, I have the 400d and am mildly jealous of the kit lens you have with the 450 - by all accounts a better lens, and if I'm right with IS built in? lucky girl u =P I'm guessing it's a pretty similar setup to the 400d, which after nearly 5 months of use I'm pretty comfortable with.. so if it's all still a bit overwhelming maybe I could be of help on certain things - if it's your first SLR then I was in a very similar boat a few months back =)
Have fun with your new Toy!
