A very fitting title; one that describes clearly our current, desperate plight. I was interested recently to see an on-line survey that asked at what price Americans would consider the cost of fuel too high. Over 40 percent claimed that they could never give up there cars and that they would pay whatever it takes. The ground surface is (in my opinion) very realistic, combining believable shading with a very naturalistic surface. Well done.
Well done :)
This is a truly extra-ordinary image. 5+.
Your images are always so photo realistic. Outstanding landscape and fantastic light. Excellent composition!
Impressive work, Ken. Excellent render. Hugs. Diane.

great image and title.....!
You make the most believable terrains...simply awesome.
Its day will soon be a thing of the past ...sigh ... wonderfully done ken !!
except for the sand, this could be where I am from.at one time they were all over the place including in front of the state capitol building.superior render and definitely an addiction.if everyone that could possibly do it was to not drive any car for one day just all over the USA it would put the hurt on the oil people but then they would raise the price again. the US government always says that they are going to investigate why the price is so high. that is like asking a hungry coyote to guard the chicken house
Very nice one Ken. Wish we were back pumping oil in this country.
Splendid technique and composition ;O)
Way to go again once more the light shadows and overall effect is so utterly real
Wow,fantastic, very real!
superb!!!!! perfect job!!!!!
So true, the addiction runs deep in the vein. We got couple of these pumps running all day long around my neighbor. Excellent work my friend!
Excellent lighting, strong and sharp, very fitting to this landscape. Well done.
Well done image.
While in Romania I saw similar rockers pumping oli in the middle of vegetable gardens. A strange feelI must say. Still, I like your image a lot as always. Have a great Sunday. Nikolay
