Coooooool !!! How did you do the blood and flesh wounds on the victim??? This one rocks i think iam about to die in this Render! very cool

If you'd really like to know how I did it in this particular image I'll tell you but it's kind of long. I did this. To create the blood splatters and cuts I used 2 hues of red in photoshop a dark dark burgundy and the brightest red makable. I started using the natural brushes and dark red for the dried and older blood. When I had everything that color I used it again to add some brighter red highlights but fading some and leaving some the true color. When that was done I used the true red and faded most of those to add more highlights and depth of wounds. Then for the spilling fresh blood I used true red. After that was all done I put a 1 pixel round brush and drew the spill lines that would carry the blood to the ground. After that I added some dark black hues for the rips and tears and holes in the flesh. I was carefull to try and match dark reds with the darkness and tried to lighten it slightly as it krept towards the light. The whole time I was using the brushes at 52% opacity as to not overpower the images natural highlights. The gun fire is KPT6 and Universe.

friggin fantastic image! Great combination of tools. The blood and bullet holes look so cool. The scene set up is well done too, with good lighting. You should make more of these. :)
