Description

Nikon 7900 pocket camera - hand held image. I found some free time today and wandered around my property with my camera in hand. As a result, I managed to capture an image of this butterfly while it was feeding. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. For those interested, the house project is slowly progressing but it is starting to feel like a job, lol.

Now is the time to sit back and relax for a while, when you are in fulltime work you get rest periods and freetime for holidays. I think you have just come up to Spring break, so you must be entitled to one week off at least. We don't want you working to hard and wrecking your back again. Nice to see a post from you Lee, and an excellent one it is as well, no butterflies round here yet, it was snowing and hail stone this afternoon and more is forcast for the week ahead, frost overnight tonight. Superb capture and presentation. Bravo!!!!!

What a marvellous name this creature has! Beautiful pic, it looks great on the red plant. I live much further south than Jeff, we have had several of our regular butterflies return this season, the first in January!

Maybe its time to take a couple weeks off and get back to the house a little later. Sometimes things look fresher after a short vacation. I like this butterfly and the flower is really interesting too.
