Description
Another rework of an old Blender piece I did quite a while ago. This one isn't a lot different from the original, but I've postworked it as if it were a photograph - something I didn't know anything about when I started with Blender!
I'm happier with the depth of color and the contrast, as well as the crop.
The flower was modeled in Blender, and I painted the texture in Dogwaffle (a free downloadable painting program). If you want to see the original, you cal click here.

Superb
This is gorgeous, Tara. If I'd ever seen a Camellia this color I would have thought it was a photograph. Well done!
Beautiful...
This is a great work! I love the sense of color and photorealism. It's the colors that get me the most. Superb!
great flower, you could make the leaves a little transparant to make it even better or try the sss option.

I have just been sorting out my eBay reciepts folder and I found the ebot for this image in there, I haven't got a clue as to why it was in there because I have to click and then move the message into that folder. A senior moment I think, I seem to be having more and more just of late. A beautiful image, and if you hadn't told I would have thought it a photo that had been sharpened. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!! Better late than never. Hugs xx
Beautiful!
