Image Info: Rendered in Bryce. A little tweaking was done in Photoshop. The flyer was found in the Renderosity free stuff section. The story to the image: 'Illusion break 5' is a very special planet in the recently explored part of the galaxy. At the begining of the 23rd century it made the scientists believe it's an earth like planet with a highly developed life form on it. Attempts to establish contact had failed. So a mission was sent. And this was the point the planet got his name cause the illusion broke. The very special geophysical and athmospheric conditions were capable of creating illusionary effects especially for the measurement devices which were used. Further investigation found what was responsible for the illusion. The biggest mono crystal silizium structures which were known were found on this planet. A very unusual concentration of pure silizium is part of the planetary hull. The whole planetary hull acts somehow like a semiconductor this could lead into massiv irritation of the sensitiv technical equipment. It could also create unexpected hazardous conditions for ground crews........
