Description
Captured 3/6/08, very early in the morning, within walking distance of my domicile.
The third in a series of photos, employing the same POV, of a variety of soaring-high-in-the-sky palm trees in my local area.
This beauty was one of the tallest of the several palms I photographed, easily rivaling anything Jack may have come up with his beanstalk.
Thanks for dropping by on this warm and sunny day!

Fantastic POV, the tree looks gigantic!
Inspired by your series I was looking palm trees today in my area, none this tall. Interesting a wave texture of the bark also like the funny pom-pom head.
Tiny head on a substantial body!
Ah yes, my neck aches and I feel very short!! Nice job.
each tree is diff. cool shot
I think I'll try to get a picture of a fir tree from this POV. You inspire me, my friend! I don't know if there will be enough light, but I'll give it a go. Great series!
Love that one, too
