Description
Hello fine folks!
Back at last, after smashing my lens, slipping on wet stones, and having to buy a new one. Arrrgh..
Well, I have so very much longed to browse this place, to feel your creativity. So I will keep this short.
Spring is still not upon us in Sweden, instead we have had virtual snow storms the last few days. I find myself giggling at the weather, knowing this cannot last forever.
This tulip is from my mothers birthday, earlier this week. We call them Parrot Tulips, and they are one of my (and her) favourites.
Take care!

Sorry about the lens, hope the new one brings you good fortune. A fine macro you have here, splendid colour and light. Congrats to your Mother for her birthday.
Beautiful textures and colors... I can see how the brush strokes would run if this were the subject of a painting... Birthday wishes to your Mom~ I'm glad you could replace the lens! Spring is close... tomorrow is the equinox! =)
Great image! Nice composition, colour and light!
What a superb image!!! This is the best tulip pic so far this season (in my opinion!)
Stunning work! 5!
What a beautiful shot ! superb Macro , Ana
This almost looks like a painting, it's so deep and textured and beautfiful!! I know all about slipping and sliding, though managed to save the camera. It's good to see you back; spring is slowly showing its face here in northern California and it makes my heart and soul sing!!
This image has such a warm golden light to it, very beautiful.
Exceptionally well done! Ouch on the smashed lens, glad it wasn't you that was smashed. It's hard to keep an eye on both what we wish to shoot and feet at the same time.
Wow, how beautiful!!
What a colorful way to celebrate the arrival of spring!!!!!!
Sorry your winters are so long. Our snow has finally managed to turn into rain, but the ground is so saturated that you can stick your finger into the ground and reach the water table!!! Overnight, my lawn has turned into "melting tundra." Every step one sinks at least an inch or more into the ground. Have been cleaning out the flower beds and enjoying the crocus, which have finally bloomed. Sorry you broke your lens. Sounds expensive. Hold on, Eva! A few more weeks and even Sweden will have its spring.
Wonderful ruffled petals in many colors.
WOW!!! very beautiful! Great colours and light!!!
A fantastic, and creative capture of this tulip, Very well done!! Have a very nice evening Henk
A fine shot and bloom, Eva. I am so sorry about your fall. We are set for a "white Easter"in UK! Spring cannot hide from us forever!!! Hugs. Di. xx
