Description
Captured 3/8/08, around 7:45 AM within walking distance of my humble haunt.
The first in a series of photos, employing the same POV, of a variety of soaring-high-in-the-sky lonesome palm trees in my local area.
Talk about leaning over backwards, this is literal proof of that; crick in the neck, vertigo and all! Imagine what the locals were thinking seeing this demented individual looking up and taking pictures while pressed hard against the base of a tree. Now, that's tree hugging with a purpose! And yes, it hurt.
Sneak factor: too ludicrous to even consider.
Have a humongous hump day, ya'll!

Nice texture and compo.
What a stunner! (Glad it wasn't actually a stunner, if you get my drift!) Thankyou for the information on hump day, it was a relief, as 'hump' has other meanings in some UK slang. Thought I'd been missing out on something in my dotage. A terrific shot, so glad you didn't damge yourself!
Interesting photo, the POV works really well for this picture. Good Job
