Rescued by this same lady, this baby blue jay is about 2 weeks old and what a cutie! I haven't seen many Blue Jays in my life, they seem to be a bit elusive, and have seen only photos of a baby once before. Alex makes me feather earrings (because of my native heritage) and he found blue jay feathers and made those for me at Christmas. I have more photos of the squirrel and the bird so I will make a collage of each asap. Hope you like this one, when seeing this the song that popped into my head was I'll Fly Away...

Ah, cute! I've saved a baby blue jay before and it grew when it was old enough, it flew away one day. it takes up a nest in the cherry tree nest door :) Good shot, Alex, and the feather earrings are cool, i'm listening to music right now and just as i looked at the picture, I'll Fly Away came on, and when i saw what was written, i was like, "weird..." it was cool! :)) Great job, keep it up, guys!
