Description

look at the Spainish moss hanging in the trees and see how the winds are. Look at the water and how rought it is. These birds was not going no wheres. Anyway it was a storm. Not the worse I seen it but I was the only one out there takeing photos. My camera is safe; I in the truck and shooting out the window. I park my truck in a way so the rain will not come in and I can still get these shots. I do have a small tripod but as you see it not very good. I got to get one of those devices so I do not have to touch the camera at all . I also have a big heavy tripod but it too big lol. Got to get a middle line type tripod and a diff type head to go on it. thanks for comments and looking

Yep! You can sense the water lapping on the bank and the wind in those branches. Great shot. Well worth stopping for... Great title too.

I love the feel of this. How many times have I felt this myself? The moss and the water tell the tale. Really outstanding shot.

Very well done capture, Jocko. They do, however, seem to be enjoying themselves.

I watched the 1940's b & w movie, THE MUMMY'S CURSE, on TV the other night; it showed a swamp area with tons of Spanish moss hanging from the trees, and I immediately thought of you and your meandering around in that stuff. Anyway, cool capture of the white birds, contrasted against the blackness of the swamp and background trees, Jock.

Those herron's seem to be struggling against that strong wind, probably a good time to get home and under cover ! Great Nature capture and the spanish moss always looks amazing ! ~Cheers~

Fabulous capture Jock! Just awesome! Love the contrast, too, of the white birds against the grey stormy waters and the trees with the moss hanging. Doggone but you are one heck of a photographer .. and Brycer, too!

The egrets don't seem to be the least bit worried about this storm; I love the contrast of their white feathers with the dark of the swamp and the stormy skies!!
